nature of language and its functions in society. Social roles of the man and the woman are dictated by
existing sociocultural norms, representations about “typically man's” and “typically female” are
relative. The article deals with gender stereotypes and their representation in German literature.

Consideration of professional reflection as interdisciplinary problem is the necessary
condition of quality analysis for personal professional becoming. Personal becoming in a profession is
related to forming the necessary professional skills of a person, behaviour stereotypes which is the
area of pedagogics. Reflection processes are inalienable part of self-knowledge of a person which
result must lead to his self-perfection (including professional one) and studying within the psychology
increasingly. Thus the aim of the article is to ground the determination of professional reflection as an
interdisciplinary problem in pedagogics and psychology.
Spiritual Evolution as a Metamorphose (on the base of Victor Pelevin Novel “Life of Insects”)

The article deals with the aesthetic paradigm of the novel “Life of Insects” (1993), written
by well-known Russian writer Victor Pelevin. Spiritual evolution or degradation of the heroes is
represented by their metamorphosis from person to insect or vice versa. Actual questions of the novel
are focused on the problems of spiritual vacuum, lost dignity, the meaning of life, the relationship to
life as most rare and precious gift, the horror to live at the level of animal existence. The author
models the reality, in which the insect mask captures the essence of the person. The focus is on the
anthropocentric code of the novel, the evolutionary and regressive reasons, connected with the
transmutations of the heroes.
The Question of the Danube Principalities in European Diplomacy of the Second Half of 50’s – 60’s of the XIX-th Century (Based on Materials of the Russian Periodical Press)

Using materials of the Russian periodicals the policy of European States toward the
question of the Danube Principalities’ union and their political status in the second half of 50’s – 60’s
of the XIX-th century was exposed. The attention was accentuated on the Romanian question that was
the main component of the Eastern question and played the important role in French, British, Austrian
and Russian diplomatic policy after the Eastern War of the 1853–1856. The position of different
ideological and political Russian press’ movement (conservative, liberal, slavophile and radical)
concerning the formation of Romanian statement and the European diplomacy in this question was
analyzed.

The article deals with interpretation of the definition of style in the Ukrainian and German
baroque poetics and rhetorics. The theory of style and its main components, namely levels of style,
tropes and figures of speech in the interpretations by Mytrofan Dovhalevs’kyi, Feofan Prokopovich,
Martin Opitz and Johann Christoph Gottsched were comparatively researched.

The given article deals with the symbolism of color in the British and Russian fairy-tale
tradition, which is reflected in the science fiction literature. The symbolic meaning of the color palette
in the science fiction works by R. Bradbury, C. Simak, A. and B. Strugatsky is analyzed. It is proved
that folkloric indication of colors serves as the peculiar way of constructing a science fiction space
and plays an important role in the understanding of the concept of works.
