SOLITON SOLUTION OF THE K(M,N,P,Q+R) EQUATION WITH GENERALIZED EVOLUTION
Author(s):MOHAMMED. K. ELBOREE
Journal:
International Journal of Mathematics and Computer Applications Research
Publisher:TJPRC Pvt Ltd.
Abstract
| Pages: 31-40
The K(m,n,p,q+r) equation with generalized evolution is investigated by using the sech ansatz. A set of entirely
soliton solutions is established. The study reveals the power of this scheme in handling conserved quantities of this
equation.

Abstract
| Pages: 41-52
The response of a dynamical system of two-degree-of-freedom, subjected to multi excitations is studied and
solved. The objective of this paper is vibration control of the main system using absorber at the simultaneous primary
and internal resonance . The method of multiple scale perturbation technique is applied to obtain the
periodic response equation near the primary resonance in the presence of internal resonance of the system. The stability of
the obtained numerical solution is investigated using both phase plane methods and frequency response equations. Effects
of different parameters of the system are studied. The reported results are compared to the available published work.

Abstract

Circles are important patterns in many automatic image inspection applications. The Hough transform (HT) is a
popular method for extracting shapes from original images. It was first introduced for the recognition of straight lines, and
later extended to circles. The drawbacks of standard HT for circle detection are the large computational and storage
requirements. This paper is concerned mainly with the circle-point mapping (C-P mapping) of image space to the
parameter space (R3+). Some geometrical properties for detecting circles in image space are given. These results are
illustrated by figures.
A NEW DIRECTION FOR THE STABILITY ANALYSIS OF COLUMNS USING UNIT STEP FUNCTION- SOME CASE STUDIES

Abstract
| Pages: 63-78
The solution to the problems of stability is by approximate methods like, finite element method, finite difference
method, energy methods and numerical methods are available. The exact solution, except in case of certain simple
problems, is not possible. A new direction for stability analysis in case of columns using synergetic combination of finite
difference method and unit step function is proposed. Some of the limitations of the finite difference method in stability
analysis has been overcome effectively using unit step function to get a solution to the critical load.
The second order linear differential equation for columns has been considered as the basic differential equation.
The proposed method can be applied, in general, to any type of columns in finding the critical load using computer or
manually. The working method and manifestation of the techniques are presented for a few types of problems of columns
(of constant and variable stiffness types) for finding critical load. The results are in good agreement with the pure finite
difference method.
A STUDY ON PROPAGATION OF SPHERICAL SHOCK WAVES IN THE ATMOSPHERE
Author(s):PRASHANT CHAUHAN, MUKESH CHANDRA
Journal:
International Journal of Mathematics and Computer Applications Research
Publisher:TJPRC Pvt Ltd.
Abstract
| Pages: 79-86
In the present paper, we shall study the propagation of spherical shock waves in the atmosphere. The propagation
of shock waves in the earth’s atmosphere is in the vertical direction. It was found that the shock velocity increase as the
shock front propagates in the vertically upward direction but in the horizontal direction the density is constant and the
shock velocity remains constaint.
CRITICAL GRAPHS IN RESTRAINED DOMINATION

Journal:
International Journal of Mathematics and Computer Applications Research
Publisher:TJPRC Pvt Ltd.
Abstract
| Pages: 87-94
In this paper we study the concept of edge critical graph w. r. t restrained domination. We have derived
characterization of edges which are responsible to increase or decrease restrained domination number of a graph. We have
also given examples to illustrate the conditions given in theorems.
A COMPLETE PREPROCESSING METHODOLOGY FOR WUM

Abstract
| Pages: 1-8
The popularity of Web resulted in heavy traffic in the Internet. This intense increase in internet traffic has caused
significant increase in the user perceived latency. In order to reduce this, WUM is found to be potentially useful. The
exponential growth of the Web in terms of Web sites and their users has generated huge amount of data related to the
user’s interactions with the Web sites. This data is recorded in the Web access log files of Web servers and usually referred
as Web Usage Data (WUD). In this paper, a comprehensive preprocessing methodology is proposed as a prerequisite and
first stage for Web mining applications that has four steps:
Data Collection, Data Cleaning, Identification of Users & Sessions, and finally the Data Aggregation. Here an
attempt is made to reduce the quantity of the WUD and thereby improve the quality of WUD for effective mining of usage
patterns. Several heuristics have been proposed for cleaning the WUD which is then aggregated and recorded in the
relational database. Experimental results show that the proposed methodologies reduce the volume of the WUD
effectively.
A SYSTEMATIC APPROACH FOR DESPECKLING OF MEDICAL ULTRASOUND IMAGES
Author(s):NEHA SHARMA, YOGESH KUMAR
Journal:
International Journal of Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology Research
Publisher:TJPRC Pvt Ltd.
Abstract
| Pages: 9-12
Ultrasound is a medical diagnostic technique that is widely used because of its low cost and capability of forming
real time imaging. A major problem regarding ultrasound images is the corruption by speckle noise. In this paper, speckle
noise is removed by the methods based on Hard Thresholding based on Curvelets and Spatial filtering techniques such as
Sobel operator, prewitt operator, Lee filter, and NL-Mean filter. The methods are evaluated and compared in terms of filter
assessment parameters namely, Signal to Noise ratio (SNR), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Square Error
(MSE) and Correlation Coefficient (CC).

Abstract
| Pages: 13-18
A cloud is a utility based computing model that provides a service and allows virtualized resources to be easily
and efficiently scale on demand. Cloud computing is such a technique which can be used for start up and small businesses
that lack infrastructure. It can also be used to provide storage facility to an individual.
In this paper we will discuss efficient cloud computing architecture that is based on distributed data centers which
will support application in the hospital network in order to reduce latency.
