Creative Realization of the Interdisciplinary Approach to the Study of Foreign Languages in the Experience of the Danube Basin

The article provides a brief overview of the experience of the Danube Basin universities, with an emphasis on the importance of studying Maritime English as a language of international communication. The phenomenon of “interdisciplinarity” and dominants of the interdisciplinary approach to the study of a foreign language are considered. Due to the need to train competent professionals for the maritime fleet with knowledge of professionally oriented foreign language and the lack of theoretically and practically developed technique with purposeful development of communicative competence with the use of interdisciplinary approach to foreign language learning, some practical experience of the use of interdisciplinary approach as an innovative technology in teaching Maritime English is presented.

Harnessing the Concept of Lifelong Education to Stimulate the Motivation for Adults to Learn

EU member states cannot exist without an effective system of adult education being integrated into a lifelong learning strategy by providing the participants with various framing labor market possibilities and facilitating social integration and preparation for an “active aging” in the future. Countries should ensure that their systems offer the opportunity to identify and monitor their priorities. Adult education remains the main topic on the agenda of European institutions since the beginning of the century when through the Lisbon Declaration was agreed that education is a key resource for development. Recent studies confirm the need for investment in training adults. Among public and individual benefits they provide are distinguished as follows: a higher degree of labor market framing, increasing labor productivity and better staff training, cost reduction for unemployment benefits and other social payments payable for an early retirement and incomes increase in terms of a more intense engagement in public life, sustainable health, low crime rate, the higher level of prosperity and fulfillment. The study of adult population groups demonstrates that when being engaged in learning, older people are healthier and respectively require fewer expenses for medical care.

This research have been done as a very important step of the author’s doctor dissertation. Intersubjective connections in the process of the professional training the future teacher of foreign languages are very important because such subjects as pedagogics, psychology, foreign language are the basic components of it. The given article deals with such aspects as the individualization and differentiation of training the future teacher of foreign languages. Organization and realization of project activities high school students’ to development of the Danube Region was surveyed on the basis of scientific literature on the problem of formation of future teachers’ readiness to solve different didactic problems. The stages of organization and realization of high school students’ project activities were researched and worked out. We came to the conclusion that a project activity is a combination of certain purposeful actions for creation of a successive plan in future teachers’ training.

Private Charity Nobles Danube in Education in the XIX - Early XX Centuries

This paper describes the main trends and forms of private noble charity in education in the Danube region in the XIX - early XX century. It is noted that, in spite of the leading position of NGOs in the field of charity, the activities of individuals played an important role in supporting training and education of young people. The development of private charity was due to the inability of the state to provide a worthy charity to socially disadvantaged, particularly in the acquisition of education. In this article, based on an analysis of archival documents dealing with specific examples of using the nobility of parish schools, charters schools, gymnasiums and schools of the region.
