Thioamido, quinilineo, benzamido and benzoido group containing heterocycles created their own identity and importance in pharmaceutical, medicinal, agricultural and drug sciences. Thioamido and benzamido heterocyclic compounds showed noticeable and remarkable applications in industrial, pharmaceutical, medicinal and drug chemistry. Hence taking all these facts into consideration it was thought interesting to synthesize N- (7-substitutedthiocarbamidoquinoline-4-yl )-N, N- diethyl-pentane-1,4-diamines by interacting N-(7-chloroquinoline-4-yl)-N,N-diethyl-pentane-1,4-diamine with various thiourea in isopropanol medium .The justification and identification of the structure of these newly synthesized compounds had been established on the basis of chemical characterization, elemental analysis and through spectral data The antimicrobial activities of this compounds were screened against E. coli, S. typhi, S. abony, P. aeruginosa, B. subtilis, A. niger, and C. albicons pathogens which are hither to unknown.

Heteroacyclic and Heterocyclic containing drugs showed remarkable and noticeable drug absorption, transmission and drug effects; hence they created their own identity and importance in pharmaceutical, medicinal, agricultural and drug sciences. Thioamido, pyridino, thiobiureto and alkylamino heterocyclic compounds showed various significances and applications in industrial, pharmaceutical, medicinal and drug chemistry. Considering all these facts into consideration it was thought interesting to synthesize 1-pyridino,1-[4(1-substituted)-2, 4-dithiobiureto]phenyl-dimethylpropanamine by interacting 1-pyridino,1-(4-thiocarbamido)phenyl-dimethylpropanamine with various isothiocyanates in ethanol-acetone medium. The 1-pyridino,1-(4-thiocarbamido)phenyldimethylpropanamine was synthesized by interacting 3-(4-chlorophenyl)-N,N-dimethyl-3- pyridin-2-yl-propan-1-amine with thiourea in isopropanol medium. Development of Nanostructured Cadmium Oxide (Cdo) Thin Films

A nanostructured thin film of cadmium oxide (CdO) have been obtained from cadmium sulphide (CdS) films by annealing process in air at temperatures between 400ºC and 750ºC. The CdS films have been fabricated onto glass substrates using simple & inexpensive chemical bath deposition technique (CBDT). The optical & structural characterization of obtained materials was performed. The x-ray diffraction (XRD) study has confirmed the formation of CdO with nano-size scale whereas the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies showed that all the films were polycrystalline in nature. The optical energy band gaps of the films were evaluated. The nano-crystalline materials exhibiting small particle size & large surface area may be applied for various gas sensors as well as in large area electronic devices.

Chalcones (Prop-2,3-en-1-ones) (1a-e) were obtained by condensation of acetophenone with aromatic aldehydes in alkaline medium , which on microwave irradiation with thio-semicarbazide hydrochloride give 1-Thiocarboxamido-3,5- diaryl –Δ2-Pyrazolines (2a-e). The properties of these compounds are found to be similar to the compounds obtained by usual method. The structures of these compounds were established by spectral (IR, NMR), elemental and chemical analysis.

Vitiligo is a common hypopigmentation disorder disease that causes a great degree of psychological distress. In its classical forms it is easily recognised and diagnosed. This review discusses the methods for the treatment of vitiligo patches which are based on evidence. The treatment of vitiligo is a long term process which may lead to unsatisfactory results if the treatment is abandoned by the patient. A definite diagnosis, offering psychological support and suggesting supportive treatments is the main requirement of patient. A pilot study was conducted which included visit to clinics, trials and feedback from patients to determine the present methodology being used for the treatment. The review is reported here.

Novel Synthetic Derivatives of Substituted Amino -1, 2, 4-Thiadiazoles

A novel series of 3-amino-5-substituted amino-1,2,4-thiadiazoles (5a-f) and 3- substituted thiocarbamido-5-substituted amino-1,2,4-thiadiazoles (6a-f) have been obtained by the oxidative cyclization of 1-substituted-3-formamidinothiocarbamide1 (3af) and 1,3-bis(substitutedthioamido)-guanidine1 (4a-f) with bromine respectively. (3a-f) were synthesized by the interaction of guanidine (1) with various alkyl/aryl isothiocayantes (2a-f) in 1:1 molar ratio in carbon tetrachloride medium while (4a-f) were isolated by the condensation of guanidine (1) with different alkyl/aryl isothiocayantes (2a-f) in 1:2 molar ratio in ethanol-acetone medium. The structure of all these compounds was established on the basis of elemental analysis, equivalent weight and spectral data.
